Looking for a simple, affordable venue in Devonport for your next gathering? The 1st Devonport Scout Hall is available for hire for community events, parties, workshops, and more.

Our hall, or den, is on Allenby Avenue, right beside Allenby Park, making it a great option for park-based parties with access to indoor shelter and facilities.

The den is a no-frills space—perfect for those who need a clean, functional venue. It features a large open indoor area, ideal for indoor games, group activities, or wet-weather backup. It has a basic kitchen and foldaway chairs and tables. It is available for regular or one-off hire. 

Please note that there are noise restrictions in place so it may not be suitable for noisy events such as discos or 21st birthday parties. Please check with us for further information.

Our hire fees help support the upkeep of the den and our youth programmes. Basic rates for hire are $25 per hour. Other arrangements will be priced by agreement.
