Scoutsville

Our Rangitoto Bach

A highlight for many of our group is to stay at our bach on Rangitoto ‘Scoutsville’. Scoutsville recently celebrated 100 years of use by the 1st Devonport Scout Group.

Scoutsville is available for Scout and Guide groups and members. As camping is not permitted on Rangitoto, the bach offers one of the few options for overnight accommodation and provides a base for groups undertaking outdoor activities on the island.

For more on things to do on Rangitoto and how to prepare for your trip see

Rangitoto Island: Places to go in Auckland Groups may complete a challenge sheet to earn the Scoutsville Rangitoto badge.

Scoutsville not available for private or commercial use.
